Centre for Global Mental Health
The Centre for Global Mental Health (CGMH) is a collaboration between the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and King’s Health Partners (incorporating King’s College London), including the Institute of Psychiatry and three of London’s most successful NHS Foundation Trusts).
The vision of the Centre is to foster research and capacity building in policy, prevention, treatment and care with the ultimate objective of closing the treatment gap for people living with mental, neurological and substance use disorders.
The Centre is jointly led by Professors Vikram Patel and Martin Prince and comprises academic staff and PhD students from both institutions.
