CGMH staff to talk at Royal Society of Medicine Conference, The World in Denial? Global Mental Health Matters

The Royal Society of Medicine will be holding an event, The World in Denial? Global Mental Health Matters in order to make the case for increasing the profile and funding of mental health globally and to discuss the challenges and opportunities for this. The keynote address, Disregarding Mental Health and Wasting Resources is Unacceptable, will be delivered by CGMH staff member Prof. Graham Thornicroft.In the second session, Global Mental Health from the Cradle to the Grave, CGMH co-directors Prof. Vikram Patel and Prof. Martin Prince will be talking about young people and adult mental health and dementia respectively.

The conference will be held on Tuesday - Wednesday 26 - 27 March 2013, at the Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, LONDON, W1G 0AE
