Dr Daniela Fuhr
Daniela is Assistant Professor in Mental Health Systems at the Department of Health Services Research and Policy, Faculty of Public Health and Policy. Daniela’s background is in clinical psychology and public health. She used to work for the WHO Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse before returning to academia. Daniela is particularly interested in common mental disorders and in the development and implementation of low intensity psychological interventions. One important aspect of her work is to strengthen mental health systems in resource constrained settings, and to seek ways to overcome health system challenges to improve mental health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
