Dr Rabeea'h Aslam

Research Fellow

I am a medical doctor and work full-time in mixed-methods research at the London School of Hygiene Tropical Medicine, Swansea University Medical School, and as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool. My research interests lie at the intersection of transnational migration (specifically refugees and asylum seekers), community engagement, cultural psychiatry, global mental health research, and policy.

I have led and been part of multiple projects funded and commissioned by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR), European Union’s Horizon 2020, Health and Care Research Wales (HCRW), Cochrane, and Department of Health in the United Kingdom.
