Dr Tatiana Salisbury

Tatiana Taylor Salisbury has collaborated on projects in Africa, Europe and Asia focused on child and adolescent mental health, mental health systems and service delivery and evaluation. She was recently co-investigator on the CHAKA (Mental health among HIV infected Children and Adolescents in Kampala and Masaka, Uganda) project which is providing epidemiological information on mental health among the largest sample of children and adolescents with HIV to date.

Her recent publications have examined on the relationships between expenditure /deinstitutionalisation and the quality of mental health care, attachment and youth wellbeing and interventions for self-harm in youth and adult populations. Her current research interests focus the incorporation of human-centred design approaches, technology and social media to improve adolescent mental health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries.
