The ERC-funded LIFE2YEARS project, requires a Research Assistant in Biostatistics & Data Management to support the 10/66 Dementia Research Group working on the delineation of secular trends (2005-2015) in the health of older people by completing a third prevalence wave survey in catchment areas (China, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, and Puerto Rico), previously surveyed in 2004-2006 and 2007-2009. 

You will support the 10/66 DRG London team and overseas’ Principal Investigators and contribute to the quantitative research component with responsibilities for data merging, quality control, and statistical analysis. 

Comprising assisting with the management of the public access data archive (10/66), dealing with requests of data usage and preparing data for collaborators. More broadly, the postholder will be strongly encouraged and supported to build on the platform provided by the 10/66 program and the Global Observatory for Ageing and Dementia Research to publish papers.

The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £28,098 - £29,799 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2019. 

This is Full-time post, 100% FTE.
